I was just in Portland for 10 days visiting friends, particularly my BFFs Cory and Wille. I used to go every month, but during my last two semesters of school I was far to busy to get down there. My longest break from PDX: 8 months. Felt really good to be back. Bike rides, coffee (stumptown!) friends…it’s my favorite place. I was considering moving there for a few months while I was freelancing, but that changed when I got home. I got a call from Haig, who was my interface design teacher at college. When I graduated I said to myself and friends that I would do anything to work with him. He has inpired my greatly. I meet with him tomorrow to discuss a position at his new studio. I am beyond excited. I will definatley commit to living in Vancouver for another year just be able to work near someone with such a fantastical brain.
I can still do Portland on the weekends.
